Today, I received an invitation to join a new JV Giveaway event. Nothing special, since this happens several times a week, lately.

When I went to the sign up page, I noticed the header said ‘Support Our Troops’.
Now, the thing is… my personal opinion on this issue stops me from joining this event.

There’s the old marketing vs. ethics dilemma again… It seems to pop up every once in a while, making me feel a little uncomfortable.

I’m perfectly aware of the fact that ‘only the killers survive’, yet I can’t bring myself to take any action that is against my own principles. I guess that’ll be the reason why I’ll never become one of those top-sellers - but at least I can sleep at night ;o)

Because I think everyone should be able to make up his own mind, I did add the link to the JV Giveaways Directory. (Please note the link there is not my affiliate link, but the administrator’s.)

Feel free to sign up, yet not without giving it at least some thought…

I must say… it IS a good marketing trick to create a little controversy - it made me write this blog post, didn’t it?! :o)
