Today, I accidently bumped into a site of a fellow Belgian marketer. Since there aren’t many Belgians around in IM, I was curious and gave the site some extra attention.
I’m glad I did, ‘cos what I discovered was a new form of social networking: ‘Automated Social Networking‘.
The concept is simple: At the site - Scoutle - you can create a ‘Scout’ that will walk all over the Internet for you, searching and indexing interesting websites while at the same time promoting your own website(s). In order to make your Scout walk, you place a small Stage on your own site. This Stage will be used by Scouts of other users that will not only discover your website but will also recommend it to others. The only thing you have to do is every now and then login to Scoutle and see the results.

Just today my hubbie managed to make a couple of great sales on eBay (He has a pretty successful biz selling 70’s wrist watches - you just can’t imagine how much money people are willing to spend on a watch ). This made I didn’t have to worry about the money, so I decided to go for it! Once I had made my decision, I spent about an hour going through my mailbox to find out who was offering the best bonus package. I was as exited as a kid on its first day of school…
When I finally made up my mind about the bonus package, I rushed over to the SCG6 site and clicked the order link…
… only to find out Jeremy accepts nothing but credit card payments. Noooooo!!
I must admit, I hardly find the time to go through the many gifts lists lately. Quite often it happens that a giveaway passes while I only had time for a quick glance at the contributed products.
But not today!
Today, I allowed (forced??) myself to put aside the projects I’m working on and I took some time off to check out Guido Nussbaum’s new Profit Work From Home site.

If I had to buy all the available products separately, I would have to pay at least 10 times more than what I’m charged for my Crazy Membership…
