Finally, after 4 or 5 months, I’m able to see and edit Toolbox4success.net again… Thanks to my current (new) webhosting company who didn’t give up on the situation!

Now it’s just a question of days to get SpiceupYourSite and Scriptadelic back online.

I’m right in the middle of something, it’ll have to wait till after I finish; but that gives me time to think where I want to go with the sites. Especially Toolbox4sucess needs to be reworked and renewed.

I still can’t believe it’s actually true…

But first things first…

Sigh… no harm is done!

Just a couple of hours ago, while checking my mailbox, I found a message from Paypal telling me they had limited my account. My heart skipped a beat; I had seen it happen to others, PayPal suspending their account for no obvious reason…

Once the first shock was gone, I could think clear again, and told myself it could be just a spoof email… I remembered (vaguely) that official Paypal messages always address customers with their full name, never with ‘Dear customer’ or ‘Dear Member’ (Or was it just the other way around?)

So, I headed over to the PayPal site to see what I could find about the topic.
There I found ‘ PayPal’s 10 ways to recognize fake (spoof) emails’

Still no progress in getting Toolbox4Success, Scriptadelic & SpiceUpYourSite back online… It bothers me that nobody seems to know what causes the problem, let alone fix it. (I can’t load the URL’s on my own machine, so I switched hosts. Unfortunately that didn’t solve the problem. Now everything is offline…)

Anyway…

I’m looking for some people who are willing to beta-test my new script.

- preferably little or no script experience (installation is extremely easy)
- server must be able to run php

Beta-tester tasks:

- Review installation guide
- Test the script for bugs/errors
- Send in a testimonial
- Submit comments, feedback, likes, dislikes, tips,… if any

All beta testers will receive a copy of the finished script.
After launch, you’ll be able to promote the script and earn 50% commission.

It seems I finally got it to work - the $7 script I mean.

The site is all set up and ready to go. Now comes the less fun part of the deal: promotion.

Not my cup of tea! I prefer creating stuff and designing websites (- in fact I’m already working on my next project right now). But you can’t have one thing without the other, I assume…

Because I never seemed to succeed in setting it up properly, I decided to get the $7 Script Desktop Installer. Thought that would help me.

I must say, it did. It’s really easy to set up a site - you just need to answer some questions, and that’s it. But then, ….something went wrong while I was changing the file names… sigh…

I’ll have to check everything again… after the weekend.

These last few days, I’ve been looking for ways to get extra traffic to my eBay-store.

I’ve updated both my AboutMe and my MyWorld page - unfortunately I can’t seem to be to add a blog yet. I’ve also ‘written’ a guide and posted it to the Reviews and Guides-section. Before today, I didn’t even know there was such a service…

Right now I’m playing around with 2 cool tools I found :

My maibox is filling up with ‘requests’ to sign up for The IM Myth a new report by Rusell Bronson. The funny thing is… the report isn’t available to read yet. You can sign up to get a promo link, which will earn you $1 per referral, but inside the member area, instead of a download link for the report it says ‘Coming Soon‘.

I used to do the same - send out links for products I hadn’t seen yet. And I speak from personal experience when I say that this can turn against you very fast. It took me 1 awful report and 1 crappy piece of software to learn that pomoting a product you don’t know is a bad idea, no matter how big the creator’s name is!

For those promotor’s sake, I really hope The IM Myth is gonna be good…
